1. How can I find the
right school for my child when I have no experience
of independent schooling in the UK?
This is where we can help. Through a lengthy
personal interview with both you and your child
we will be able to find out about your child's
abilities, interests and personality and can
suggest schools where these can be developed
to their full potential.
2. My daughter is only
10 and will finish Primary school this year.
Can she be admitted into a UK secondary school
before the mandatory 11 years of age?
Usually not. However one option would be for
your daughter to start at a feeder school for
your chosen secondary school and be prepared
for scholarship examinations which would ease
the burden of fees in successive years.
3. My children have
never lived in the UK so how can I find a school
where my children will feel comfortable and
accepted?
The student body varies from school to school.
Some take the majority of their students from
a 50 mile radius while others have a higher
percentage of international pupils. Through
our visits and direct experiences from other
families already attending we can suggest schools
which have been successful with overseas students.
4. Where are you based?
We are based in the UK but travel several
times a year to other countries to interview
families. Current locations are USA, Europe,
West Africa and India.
5. How much will this
cost?
UK boarding school fees are currently £16,000
- £21,000 per annum, payable directly to the
school. For a full placement service we charge
a one-off fee of £600.
See Fees
for further details of consulting services.
